Paul McCreery of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, ran the fastest time of the day in Street Modified class with a blistering 31.48 pass backed up by two other very quick laps at 31.67 and 31.60 seconds.

Running a Corvair-powered '69 Fiat roadster in Specialty class, Michael LeVeque bettered his performance with every lap, beginning with a 40.40+ pass, following it with a 33.99+ and  winding it up a with a blistering 30.99 second pass.

Mark Gillespie's Yenko Stinger YS#037

Back in the pit area, Indiana's Mark Gillespie was getting ready to run the autocross in his Yenko Stinger YS#037, one of the original hundred 1966 Stingers built by Yenko Sportscars, Inc. Mark, running in Competition class, did not finish his first lap, but came back to record a 31.94 second pass, followed by a 36.53+. Watching these authentic Corvair racers run is a blast!
