2001: A Corvair Odyssey
Philip Wiley drove to the convention from his home in Indiana behind the wheel of his 1966 Monza convertible. He popped the hood for me and we had a look at his 110 HP engine while we traded Corvair stories. With the spare tire removed from its mounting bracket at the right of the photo, it was easy to appreciate the like new condition of the engine shrouds, and the lines and linkages of the induction system. The chrome air-cleaner cover is from a 140 engine. |
Above, we see that the Monza has been fitted with dual exhaust. Below, the Monza interior view shows the car's optional factory AM/FM radio, 4-speed stick and dual outside rear view mirrors. |
