Stinger |
Warren LeVeque of Le Vair Performance Products in Anderson, IN, owns #YS-015. Originally delivered in Stage II tune, it was campaigned as an SCCA ESP/STREET class car until 1995. The first 2 pictures were taken at Lime Rock with the car converted to 300 HP turbo power using 15 pounds of boost from a E-flow turbo, a waste gate and water injection. Warren and his buddy, Fred Bybee, gave the Stinger a workout, going through 23 gallons of fuel and 10 gallons of water in the process! |

13 x 10" wheels keep the light weight Stinger low to the ground. With its ten point roll cage and a full load of fuel, YS-015 weighs in at 2076 pounds. Warren intends to lighten the car with more fiberglass panels and trim it to 1900 pounds for the year 2000 racing season. 1/4 mile? 12.9 seconds! |

Warren says he started LeVair Performance
Products to pay for his racing. The shop specializes in welding, machining and
fabrication.
