Rick Norris Crown Corv-8
The factory manual helped with the wiring too. However, Rick added that the word painless doesn't apply when both your hands are inside a Corvair dash. "Medic!" Note in this picture that the standard Corvair interior rear view mirror was sacrificed in favor of a panoramic full width array of mirrors. The setup does more than improve his rear view, it gives Rick a sporting chance to keep all that impeccably refinished sheet metal out of harm's way! |

This picture of the interior gives us a better view of the expansive rear view mirror and the power window controls mounted under the ashtray at the center of the dash. No detail was overlooked in restoring the interior. All weather stripping was replaced, including the window "fuzzies." Still to be completed is the air-conditioning system. Its installation had to be aborted and rescheduled as there wasn't enough time to complete the job in time for the car's appearance at the national CORSA convention. |
