Rick Norris Crown Corv-8

The battery is an Optima gel cell, using a mount for a modified race car.

The cables are #4 gauge ultra-flow, oxygen free, fine strand copper Street Wires by Esoteric Audio. How's that for a pedigree? They were leftovers from Rick's days as a car audio freak, when he had a Dodge Daytona Shelby Z Turbo with an 1100 watt custom stereo system in it that he built to compete in sound off contests. He's got more than a few "dust catchers" on his trophy shelf as "evidence."

The cable connectors are 'gold' plated brass from the same company as the wires.

Below, we have a view of the fuel rails and 900 CFM throttle body, which has been turned 180 degrees. Most accelerator linkages work in a "pull" configuration. In this case, a "push" configuration with a cable, the butterfly arm had to be re-oriented. You can see the red accelerator cable's attachment point about 5 inches behind the butterfly.

Also seen at the extreme right of the photo below is the coil pack and ignition wires located at the rear of the engine, right behind the intake manifold.
