Corvair Memorabilia and Collectibles
These two items might not be in the proper scale when referenced to each other, but both served the same purpose, to promote the early Corvair. Dealership salespeople handed thousands of these pendants, match books and inexpensive items to buyers and prospective buyers. |

Another collectible dealer item is the promo model. In excellent condition, they trade in the range of $100 U.S. Unlike model kits, these 1/25 scale cars are available only in completed form. This early model was advertised on the Ebay Internet auction site as a '61 model, but the wide white wall tires suggest it might be at '60. |

More highly valued by collectors than the generic Monza shown on an earlier page, this year-specific kit from AMT featured three build options; stock, custom and racing. This kit also trades for approximately $100, depending on condition. Un-built kits in original shrink wrap bring the highest prices. One of these kits ended up in our home in '65. |
