D.A.C.C. Corvair Homecoming
I've always thought the late model coupe looks good from any angle, particularly with the side windows down to show off the hardtop. Another attractive feature of the late model, in my opinion, is the Coke bottle shape of the rear quarter panel. This shape would later be carried over the the first generation Camaro and the 1968 Corvette. |
Attention to detail makes a huge difference to car show judges. Could these Michelin radial white-walls and simulated mag-style wheel covers be any cleaner? |
Here's another 1965 Monza. This one's been given the full custom treatment, with blacked-out bumpers, headlight bezels, and other trim. The front and rear spoilers, fender flares, the seats and wheels are all non-stock enhancements by a creative owner. |
