2001: A Corvair Odyssey
Kent Warner of Fort Wayne, Indiana, showed a very capable looking '66 Corsa equipped with a popular Corvair hop-up; an aftermarket center-mounted 4-barrel carburetor on chrome plated intake runners and breathing through a competition-style open air cleaner. Combined with ignition and exhaust upgrades, the setup improves the car's ability to efficiently process larger amounts of fuel and air when called upon to do so. Below, we see how Kent customized the exterior with bold black striping, blacked out cove area trim and some great looking American Racing wheels shod with Daytona Radial S/R tires; P185/70R14 in front, and P215/60R14 at the rear. |
Competing in the Modified, Late Closed class, the '66 Corsa scored 91.33 points, earning a Silver award. |
