Corvair Atlanta's Springfest '99
And finally, a shot that captures the mood of a misty Sunday morning in the hills of northern Georgia, with da Chuckster, accompanied by his wife, Liz, departing a scenic rest area, bound for Atlanta. A quick glance in the side view mirror confirms that his Canadian buddy is ready to fire up Madeira and experience the Corvair at its best, in the undulating twists and turns of mountain terrain. It was a good weekend for da Chuckster. His Darth Vair took 1st Place, Special Interest Class, and his Madeira earned 2nd Place honors in Show Class. |
I'd like to thank Chuck and all the people of Corvair Atlanta for an excellent time. The experience proved to me once again, Corvair people may be obsessed, but they're the best!
