Corvair emblem Corsa Fall Classic at Clark's Corvair Parts

In the early afternoon, the rain got a little heavier and we shuffled into one of Clark's eight warehouses, which collectively house over 12,000 Corvair parts! I wanted to pick up some late model trim and some parts for a Corsa dash, and they had everything I needed.

We took a tour of Clark's gasket cutting and Corvair interior factory, where we saw how a Clark's interior is fabricated. Working with tooling made by Cal Clark, Sr., and with vinyl materials that very closely match the originals in texture and color, Clark's staff makes seat covers, door panels, kick panels, dash pads, fitted carpets, headliners and everything else you could possibly need to restore your Corvair's interior to showroom condition.

1960 Corvair Monza 900 Club Coupe

Nestled safely out of the rain in one of Clark's warehouses, we spotted this original 1960 Monza 900 Club Coupe. It appeared to have all the correct parts, including the full wheel covers that were exclusive to the '60 model. Sorry about the poor picture. I didn't have enough flash power on hand.

'64 Monza Club Coupe

By the time went back outdoors, the cars were thoroughly wet, but the rain was letting up at and we browsed around checking out more of the cars of the Fall Classic at Clark's. Above, we see a well equipped '64 Monza club coupe. Notice the optional luggage rack on the rear deck lid.

Late model Monza convertible

One of the neat things about both the early and late model Corvairs is parts interchangeability. This Monza convertible has side marker lights, which would lead you to believe it's a '68 or '69, and the taillights are 1965 vintage. The air exhaust grill under the bumper is post-1965, as are the wheel covers. Keep 'em guessing with Oil of Corvair!
