The Monza's doors were in
good shape and were not re-skinned. The driver's door had a quarter sized hole
in the lower front which had been filled with Bondo. Rick cut out to bad area
and welded in new metal. He cleaned the inside and outside of the door seams,
gave them a good coat of rust inhibiting paint and added a new coat of seam
sealer to the outside seams.
Insulation material in the doors was in good condition, so it
was not replaced. At right, we see how the electric window winder is oriented,
mimicking its final placement inside the door.
