Rick Norris Crown Corv-8

The secondary gauge cluster consists of a dual scale, 285 degree coolant temperature gauge, 100 PSI oil pressure indicator and a volt meter with a 16 volt range.

Below the cluster, a stock radio face plate will hinge down to reveal a modern mini-disc CD player head unit. Rick says, "This bad boy will have a serious stereo system."

Rick intends to insulate the cover plate over the coolant pipes in the center of the foot well area, using a high-tech street rod insulating material.

The seats are from a Toyota. They were found sitting in an auto parts store with no cuts, tears or dirt, so they got a new lease on life in the Corv-8. Their low profile increases needed leg room. Lack of same was one of the most common complaints about the Corv-8 conversion. A V-6 would increase leg room, but the smaller engine was not considered.
