One of the nicer looking 1965 Corvairs you'll find on the web is this Corsa series convertible with its beautiful Tuxedo Black paint and a fine set of custom BBS wheels.

Notice the aluminum trim around the gas hatch? This practical dress-up item was intended to protect the car's paint from damage caused by careless gas nozzle insertion. The piece was a popular mover at GM parts counters and was installed by the dealer or the owner.
